The season for cherry blossoms viewing is over. Nevertheless, it's never too late to share this lovely Japanese folk song lyrics about cherry blossoms. Also attached are some photos I took for the past few years.

Cherry blossoms, cherry blossoms,
On Meadow-hills and mountains
As far as you can see.
Is it a mist, or clouds?
Fragrant in the morning sun.
Cherry blossoms, cherry blossoms,
Flowers in full bloom.
Cherry blossoms, cherry blossoms,
Across the Spring sky,
As far as you can see.
Is it a mist, or clouds?
Fragrant in the air.
Come now, come,
Let’s look, at last!

Ohh...I will surely miss this when I get back to my home country!

Hello Nana, wow! They're beautiful. Ours here just starting to bloom too.
Reminds me of the song..
It's cherry pink and apple blossom white
When your true lover comes your way
It's cherry pink and apple blossom white
The poets say

The story goes that once a cherry tree
Beside an apple tree did grow,
And there a boy once met his bride to be
Long, long ago

The boy looked into her eyes
It was a feat to enthrall
The breezes started their sighs
The blossoms started to fall
And, as they gently caressed
The lovers looked up to find
The branches of the two trees
Were intertwined

And so that's why the poets often write
When there's a new moon up above
It's cherry pink and apple blossom white
When you're in love.

You have a pleasant weekend and keep a song in your heart, Lee.

Hi Uncle Lee!
You know what, I didn't know about the song until I looked up in Youtube. When I listened to the music/orchestra, I thought...hey, this is a famous tune but I didn't know it came with such a beautiful lyric! Thanks Uncle Lee. You made my day!
