Cuddling no more?

Jan 27, 2011

I love to hug my son. That's our daily routine. I will cuddle him before sending him off to nursery or whenever I come home from work or just simply hug him before putting him to bed. A type of "skinship" that I would love to continue forever.

A few nights ago, I gave him a hug. Then turned away to continue with the house chores when I heard him saying, " ママ、おっぱいは長くなってない?(Mommy, don't you think your bosoms are getting longer)?"

What?? I asked him again, thinking I must have heard wrongly. He repeated the same sentence, only louder. Ouuchh! I was stunned and speechless. I couldn't think of a way to reply. Not a word.

Tell me anyone who would come with a good answer, after being asked that kind of question! Who would have thought her son would ask that question? And my mind kept processing each word he said...
1. Longer means what, sagging? Ohh no!
2. Since when has he been observing my chest?
3. Why didn't my hubby say about it before he did?

I turned to my hubby hoping he would lend a helping hand when I found him practically ROTFL.

I asked him seriously, "So you think they are getting longer too??", looking at him with my over extended eyes. He stopped laughing instantly. Knowing that would only bring "harm" to him, and said, "No I don't think so...". Then trying to make me feel better by adding, "Maybe they are just getting a little bigger so the word longer meant bigger to him...??"

Now, that didn't sound too convincing did it?

Argghhh....I seriously need to start doing those stretches to prevent them from getting anymore "bigger"!!!

Wahahahahaha....

Dear Sofea,
Hahaha...because it was innocent, it sounded more powerful! You know la, it's winter here so it's so liat to do all those stretch up and exercise. But that sort of push me to start doing something or else...my son would come with another "poisonous" statement!

Dear i amsterdam,
Hahaha...I am glad I made your day! Aiyaa...Since when kids are allowed to comment about their mom's appearance? I tak pernah komen on my mom pun masa I kecik2? Ish ish ish...

Dear Cat-in-Sydney,
Hahaha...please don't imagine on me OK? You are allowed to imagine only on felines! Let me help you...the best example would be to compare between the elderly feline's and fat feline's bosoms! Felines have so many of them! wahahaha...

Dear Maz,
You are so right! And he sounded so serious. Takde nada bergurau langsung! If he was joking, I could still laugh. But he said it as a statement so obviously he was sure of what he was saying. Ahahaha...it's so funny thinking of it now! :)

Hi Nana, that was hilarious. Hey, I've seen your pics, and apart from having those traffic stopper, attractive looks of yours, you sure got a ahemmm, gravity defying assets, ha ha.

Not to worry.....maybe you not wearing your Maidenform when you hugged him, ha ha. Can't think of anything else, ha ha.

Wishing you and all at home the very best of the Rabbit Year, have fun, and ha ha....keep on defying gravity.
Lee.

You are too kind! Hahaha...
A few days later I asked him again, he said " I was sure that day but now it's gone!" So, which part he felt I don't know but I am glad there's no more. hihi
Wishing you a great head start of rabbit year! Mine has been great so far...:)
Take care!

Dear Cheqna,
You kena juga ke? Though your niece mentioned different part of the body but the message is pretty the same! :)
Let's exercise! It's good for health. Yeah yeah... (Padahal that's not the main purpose...hihihi)
