An autumn in Tokushima...

Nov 15, 2010

It was a cloudy Sunday.
But we couldn't be staying at home the whole day, could we? So we decided to go have picnic at the nearest hill park, which was like 10 minutes away from our house. A convenient spot for us.

The weather was a little gloomy but the view was nevertheless breathtaking!

While enjoying the red autumn leaves...

Beautiful autumn scenery...

We walked around regardless the passing time. I was snapping away while Sya played at the playground. As we were about to leave, we saw two beautiful predators hunting for food. Sya was really excited to find those cats there.

We went for cat chasing instead!

Sya managed to convince one of them we were harmless.

Sya named this beautiful female cat 'Heather'...

Ayah successfully tamed this playful male cat. Sya named him Shirokuroneko-chan.

Such a cutie! And such a natural!

We brought them to our our picnic site...

Ayah bought them warm potato cream soup. There was actually a vending machine selling drinks and soups! Impressive right?

Some warm soup for these cats...yummy!

Look at them. Obviously they were satisfied with the soup. Someone really enjoyed the company...

He was chewing away Sya's shoelaces...hahahaha

Enjoying the scene while lying on the grass...

We were all so in love with these cats...

Trying to get a nice good picture of the cats and us....Attempt 1.

Attempt 2...hmmm, one of them was dozing off, the other one taking her sweet time washing herself. I think this pic should be alright.

Last but not least, we would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha! Enjoy your holiday and please drive carefully!

Salam TK,

Thank you. I love autumn leaves. Don't know why but just love it! Betul, cakap pasal vending machine, memang banyak sangat. Just imagine, dekat apartment I ni pun, kiri kanan ada vending machine. Macam kita ni nak beli kat sana since dalam rumah ada stok kan? Tapi tulah, walaupun gitu...kita kekadang beli jugak. Betul Japanese ni pandai business tau! Kat parks, playground pun ada. So, kalau tak bawak minuman pun dah tentu kita tak akan kehausan. And not only cold drinks, ada hot drinks in winter. And we are addicted to this brand called Georgia. Sedap! So, once in a while memang ketagih nak minum...:)
Selamat Hari Raya TK...balik kampun mana tahun ni? :)

I love autumn too!
I think I should write something about vending machine one day...haha. Yeah, it's very creative of them to think of methods to sell their items.
Takde holiday Sofea...but I have been taking two days leaves as Sya had fever, tonsilitis and poor appetite. I will have to go back to uni tomorrow. Whatever it is, the spirit is there. Selamat hari raya haji to you and family! Enjoy!

Thank you Dr. Liau...
One thing I like here in Japan is that I get to spend quality time with family. Though busy with study, we try to spend some time together, anywhere at all. This hill is 10 minutes from home. On a good fine day, we can spend just 30 minutes to climb up the hill. No traffic jams! We ride bicycles to uni, even to the nearest paeds clinic is 5 minutes ride. Nearest pharmacy is 1-min walk, the nearest 24H supermarket, dental clinic and even dry cleaning shop is 2-min walk. Favorite bakery is just around the corner too. Just imagine, I can go back have lunch within 30 minutes time? hehe Yeah...I definitely will miss the life here. But whatever it is, home is still home. We will go back and serve the country for a better tomorrow...hopefully! :)
