Where's my chocolate?

Nov 10, 2010

Have you ever encountered this?
You thought you had stored enough chocolate to last for ages and just when you had sudden craving for chocolate, they just seemed to disappear or nowhere to be found? (pointing fingers at my two heroes at home!)

Well, it happened to me last night.

When I found out all the chocolates were consumed by my two heroes, I must have looked discontented cause daddy quickly wore his jacket and volunteered to buy them from the nearest supermarket. But I stopped him thinking it was ridiculous to go out at late hours just for some chocolates. Besides, I had thought of a better way to fulfill my craving...yeah, I had decided to bake chocolate cake! If you think that baking a chocolate cake would be troublesome, you are wrong! Actually I had been trying to find the right time to bake this chocolate cake using the recipe introduced by my junior. It's fast and easy. Only 5 minutes and the cake is done! Just five minutes guys!

If you are interested to try, just go to this website:
http://www.instructables.com/id/5-minute-Chocolate-Cake/

I tried the recipe for the first time and my mug cake turned out like this...

The taste was simply gratifying. Very chocolaty and sweet. And me, ho ho ho...very satisfied!

But remember, the recipe uses microwave instead of oven. So, it tastes good at the time it is ready. Do not leave till tomorrow to eat cause it will be as hard as a stone. Otherwise, it is the best way to satisfy your sudden craving for chocolates! I can guarantee you that!

Hi Nana, I too love chocolates. And yours looks delicious.
Kids love chocolates, especially little girls.

I'm still wondering why women love chocolates?
I will normally buy 'Bounty' the ones with coconut in them, buying half a dozen for when I'm watching TV, or else I fall asleep, ha ha.
Have fun, and keep well, Lee.

Hi Lee...hahaha, you too like chocolate?
I thought men don't have sweet tooth but it seems I am wrong. Both my men at home love chocolates too.
I can see you still are 'Malaysian' at heart. Coconuts+chocolates...yummy! But I cannot take too much chocolates, especially at night. It will increase my waistline, definitely. :)

Hi Andrea!
Give it a try! Unless you have 45 min to spare to bake a cake...I would say this is the closest you can get to having a good chocolate cake. :)
Chocolate cake and custard cream! Why didn't I think of that? Haha...you really know how to make my waist thicker...;)
